Alongside the iPhone 5, Apple also introduces the fifth generation of iPod touch. Featuring an ultra-thin and light anodized aluminum body measuring just 6mm thin, the new iPod touch is the thinnest iPod touch. Also, for the first time, the iPod touch will come in five vibrant colors, including pink, yellow, blue, white/silver, black/slate. Like the iPhone 5, the new iPod touch features a 4-inch Retina touchscreen with 1136×640 and 326ppi resolution and supports dual-band WiFi 802.11n.

Other than the 4-inch Retina iPod touch, Apple’s another new addition to the iPod family is the 7th generation iPod nano. At 5mm thin, the reinvented iPod nano is the thinnest iPod the firm has even built, and gets the largest display ever built in to an iPod nano. Its new design adds a home button for users to get back to homescreen quickly, just like the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

Apple is yet to officially announce the complete details about its upcoming tablet, the second generation iPad. But that does not stop tech guys from starting new rumors related to the company’s other plans. A new rumor suggests that the iPad 3 will arrive a few months after the launch of the iPad 2.

We have found new information that suggests that Apple has canceled support for printing from iOS devices to shared printers attached to Macs and Windows PCs. No matter what you want to say about Steve Jobs it is hard to keep the guy down; especially with the numbers Apple has just put in for 2010 Fiscal Q4. It was at this very moment that he chose to shoot down competition, maybe go on a bit of a rant and surely ripped to shreds any idea of a 7-inch iPad coming out anytime soon. The earnings of Apple for 2010 fiscal fourth quarter are here and once again Apple has set a new benchmark in roping in the cash.
