| The HTC Droid Eris handsets will get an over-the-air update from the mobile carrier Verizon on July 16, according to leaked documents. The updates could become available on all Droid Eris handsets over a period of one week.The OTA update from Verizon is not the Android 2.2 Froyo update but a new build of the handset’s software that reportedly, will add to the existing features of the handset.
