| Ectaco has released its jetBook Lite e-book reader at the Frankfurt Book Fair in New York, where this device will tip the scales at 7.5 ounces while coming with a 5" TFT monochrome display from Toshiba. You get 100MB of internal memory with this that can be further augmented thanks to an SD memory card slot. Language support includes English, German, Spanish, Russian and Polish for an European feel to it. The jetBook Lite will rely on a quartet of AA batteries compared to its predecessor, where it is capable of enjoying up to 23 hours

| Samsung rename its upcoming Galaxy Lite i5700 Android smartphone as the Spica. The Spica, as the codename Galaxy Lite suggests, is a lite version of the Samsung Galaxy i7500. Samsung is preparing a slimmed down version of its forthcoming Android phone, the i7500 Galaxy.According to the Wi-Fi certification channel, Samsung has submitted the i5700, which it is calling the Galaxy-Lite.We can only assume it will be running Android, although it would make a lot of sense.
