Intel Litl webbook headed for CES debut

Intel’s own Litl webbook will be making a debut at CES 2010 which is happening just next week. First announced in November, the Litl will target those looking for an easy-to-use Internet computer for homes that will merge both the web with high quality viewing similar to that of a TV. Powered by an Intel Atom processor, you can use the Litl as a standard netbook or flip the 12″ display and keyboard around on its patented hinge to make it stand upright like an easel. Litl Webbook – Internet computer for the home

Boston-based startup, Litl introduces the Webbook, an Internet computer for the home that offers a simple way for everyone in the family to enjoy online photos and all the web has to offer. The Litl Webbook sports an Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor and a graphics chip that accelerates H.264 video and provides 720p output via HDMI port. It has a 12-inch LCD display. The Webbook runs Litl’s web-oriented OS and offers the “easel” viewing mode for accessing popular websites and RSS feeds. It has an easy-to-use interface and includes several proprietary channels
