Moving in line with the laptop hunter advertisements of 2009, Microsoft is planning to roll out a set of advertisements to woo owners of non-Windows Phone 7 devices by showing off the brisk performance of the MS smartphone OS.
In a leak, a set of commercials in draft form have been caught in wild which compare a Windows Phone 7 device with any other non-WP7 phone. Designed as real time trials, they challenge the viewers to compete with the Windows Phone 7 device in the ad.

Microsoft has released its first ever Windows Phone 7 Update and while the new update does not bring the much sought-after ‘Copy and Paste’ feature just yet, it apparently helps in the process of getting there eventually. It has been known for a while that the Copy and Paste update for WP7 is going to be out sometime in March.
While no date has been announced or even specific time period yet revealed by Microsoft, those close to WP7 strongly suggest that the Copy and Paste option should be available in your WP7 Smartphone by the end of March. The current update though is

Touch-screen devices always require gestures from the user in order to access certain functions and delivery specific commands.
Even going back to the old Pocket PC devices with their stylus-based interface, certain shapes could be “drawn” on the screen to achieve specific tasks, such as entering or editing text. While some of these gestures are still in use – most notably on Windows 7 tablets – many of them have been superseded as Pocket PCs became Windows Mobile and latterly Windows Phone 7.

But, the vast market that Nokia holds in Asia and other parts of the globe is not dependant on the high-end Smartphone. In fact a recent survey in India, one of Nokia’s biggest markets on the planet, show that they are the most trusted “brand” in the country. And that includes among every brand possibly on offer- not just electronics and mobiles!
Most of that trust comes from Nokia’s

They will also be offering free access to the next Nokia World Summit, three months of free technical support for all Nokia Tech, a free user experience evaluation for one app, business development help and aid in publishing apps on the Ovi Store. This, along with free Nokia E7 and a Nokia Windows Phone 7 device whenever they come out! That is $1000 worth of stuff along with all those free services.
Seems like Nokia desperately does not want to lose its developers community after the merger with Microsoft. This also definitely means that the moment the E7

In case you would remember right, Acer CEO Gianfranco Lanci had said sometime last year that the company had their focus mainly on Android and Windows Phone 7 devices and they were being worked on. As if in confirmation of that statement, Acer has now said that the Acer Windows Phone 7 devices will be out later this autumn.
So by September or October 2011, we would most probably get to play with the Acer creations based on these OSes. The Mobile World Congress 2011 at Barcelona has been witness to Acer’s enthusiasm, though on a lower scale.
We have reasons to believe that the

Remember we told you about the recent Microsoft – Nokia partnership? Now think, is anything possible between Google and Microsoft – the rivals in the Android- WP7 battle? Well, they don’t think anything on that line, we know. However, YouTube user HirotakaSter has found chances of such a bizarre partnership.
In a video uploaded by HirotakaSter, we can see that Microsoft’s motion sensing controller for Xbox 360 Kinect interacting with a device which looks like running on Android.
Kinect hackings are not new, we know. They keep on coming now and then from all sides. But
