A new Verizon roadmap has surfaced and it provides a colorful picture of the carrier’s tablet and smartphone plans for the coming months. The leak suggests that one of the main offerings from the carrier will be the Motorola Stingray tablet. According to the leak, the Motorola Stingray will be arriving sometime in the first quarter of 2011. Bell Canada has started selling the MiFi 2372 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot from Novatel Wireless. This battery powered device uses Bell’s new HSPA network and provides simultaneously WiFi connectivity for up to five devices/users located within 30 feet. The device is also compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems, and offers download speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps. The Novatel Wireless MiFi 2372 sells for $99.95 with a 3-year contract or for $249.95 without any contract.

Sprint has just updated the MiFi 2200 with a new firmware that lets the 3G-to-WIFI device run without going into sleep mode when connected to an external power source. It’s seems like a logical thing to do, but the MiFi 2200 previous was going into sleep mode after a while – if there’s no activity, regardless of the power source. Folks who have been rocking to the Novatel Wireless MiFi 2200 device will be able to enjoy a firmware update that aims to correct some bugs that have arisen along the way.
