T-Mobile customers, you are in for something big. We know you haven’t been informed about it as yet officially, but the deal is really happening. Deutsche Telekom, who owns T-Mobile USA, has agreed to sell the US carrier brand to AT&T. A definitive agreement has been reached, and T-Mobile USA will be an AT&T brand soon, in return for $25 billion in cash and $14 billion in stock.

Yesterday, we had reported about LG’s plans to unveil the largest 3D-capable TV ever along with a portable 3D TV. So far there has been no confirmation about the entire features of the upcoming mobile 3D TV, but it is expected that the new device will make some heads turn at the upcoming CES.
The device comes with support for mobile ATSC broadcasts with glasses-free 3D, even at speeds of up to 200km/h (124mph).
Its screen has a filter that directs light to each eye and enables the illusion of depth to be seen when viewed from a certain position.

Microsoft will be unveiling a new lineup of smartphones running Windows Phone 7 today. The new handsets, which will be initially available on AT&T’s network, are meant to pull back the market share from Apple’s iPhone and Google’s Android system.
According to studies, Microsoft, the world’s largest software company, has just a 5 percent share of the global smartphone market. The company hopes that the new phones, from handset makers such as Samsung, LG and HTC, will help it to get back into the mobile market.

Earlier, we had reported when Virgin Mobile USA announced that it will be offering the Samsung Intercept Android handset. But the carrier had kept silent about the pricing and availability of the device which is Virgin’s first Android device. Now, the device is available from Virgin for $249.99 (contract-free) at Target stores nationwide.

Remember all that talk about a new Modu handset named TPhone that had been discussed some time ago? Well, the upcoming device is now splashed over the Net in the form of videos and pictures.
