Ever since the iPhone came out, rumors have been rife about Microsoft entering the scene with a phone based on their Zune series of personal media players. Alright, this is some wild, heavy stuff, but the folks at WMExperts have compiled what they believe to be true about Windows Mobile 7, including a whole bunch of previously undisclosed info and even a couple of flagship phones. | While there isn’t any official confirmation on this issue just word, a rumor originating from Taiwan indicates that Microsoft may be launching Windows Mobile 6.6 this year, possibly at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2010. | We know that Windows Mobile 7 should be this year, but the question was always “when”. Now according to Robbie Bach, Microsoft Entertainment & Device Division President, we might be able to see a demo of it as early as next month at Mobile World Congress (MWC). If that’s true, it’s certainly good news, especially since Google’s Android has been busy making waves all over the mobile scene, and Windows Mobile 7 will certainly be Microsoft’s attempt to get back into the game.
