New reports are suggesting that Vodafone has plans to launch the iPhone 4 in Germany on October 28. When Vodafone begin selling the smartphone, Deutsche Telekom (the parent company of T-Mobile) will lose its iPhone 4 exclusivity in Germany. T-Mobile has announced a new addition to its exclusive line of Android-powered T-Mobile myTouch smartphones. The new myTouch will be taking advantage of T-Mobile’s super-fast HSPA+ network and will deliver high-definition video connections and lightning fast 4G speeds. Sharp has announced the Galapagos Android devices and the Galapagos e-book service. Two tablets have been developed specifically as e-book readers and these readers will be providing support for the cloud-based e-bookstore service that is planned to begin in December of this year. Verizon Wireless may never include the iPhone 4 device among its list of handsets, either on account of the reception issues that are currently present in the latest Apple smartphone or due to the fact that the carrier does not require the iPhone 4 to be a part of its network as much as before.
