Bethesda has a great habit of making top selling games. This October, they have topped the NPD charts for the best selling console game and best selling PC title.
NPD reports that robust sales of Fallout: New Vegas made it the highest grossing title in October, measured by dollars, across all platforms.
“We recognize that there are many high-quality games that come out during this time of year,” said Vlatko Andonov. “We couldn’t be more pleased at how well the game has been received and we want to thank our fans for their overwhelming support of the game.”

Dell has been teasing its uber-thin Adamo XPS for awhile now, but next Thursday Dell will fully reveal the slimmest laptop ever. The 0.39-inch Adamo XPS has a price tag of $2,000, and while we still don’t have all of the details, according to a Business Week article it features a “heat-sensing strip on the lip that, when swiped with a finger, glows white and automatically opens the aluminum lid.”
Sounds sexy. The ambitious machine is part of an overall effort to get people talking about Dell once again and so far it seems to be working.

We don’t have any info on pricing details yet, but folks who want to upgrade from older BlackBerries might want to start that ebay listing to get rid of the old one for some quick cash.
It’s almost here boys and girls. Try to be patient.

Mark October 20th on your calendars if you are waiting for the Palm Pixi device as that is apparently the release date specified by Sprint as well as Best Buy. Still, the Palm Pixi isn’t as powerful as the Pre, and has a lot of work to do if it were to expand Palm’s market share when it comes to smartphones with the presence of other goliaths in the scene including BlackBerrys and iPhones. Perhaps if Palm positioned the Pixi to be the next generation Centro, things might just fall into place for the company.
