Ever since the iPhone came out, rumors have been rife about Microsoft entering the scene with a phone based on their Zune series of personal media players. That was a long time ago and now fresh rumors are circulating that the Zune Phone may in fact be coming this month!
According to the guys at MuyComputer , the Zune phone will debut at the Mobile World Congress ( MWC ) later this month. Their report claims that the device will definitely be powered by an NVIDIA Tegra processor. Gizmodo also seems to be pretty sure that the

Since the last time we mentioned it, the MyTether app for WebOS phones has gone up in price from a requested $10 donation to $14.95, but that's still considerably cheaper than Verizon's $40 per month Mobile Hotspot plan. We're still leery about what usage/overusage could mean for your contract & bill, but a new beta version has been posted that officially supports the Pre Plus and according to the developer "makes use of the API calls behind MHS" to let it work more smoothly. Even with the Pre's openness to hackery we had some issues getting the beta installer to

Is that really an image of Michelle Pfeiffer from Grease 2 being used to pimp out yet another pink phone to girls? Why yes. Yes it is. Though I’m not sure if this is an actual image from the company. Japan’s NTT Docomo has teamed up with “Seventeen” magazine to announce a new FOMA branded clamshell device in Pink. The “SH-05B” is arriving on Feb 05th and will be available in two versions of Pink. Yurukawa pink which means “loosley pink” and yancha pink which means “mischievous pink”.

Looks like a hands-on photo of the HTC Bravo has appeared. The device sort of resembles the Google Nexus One, but with more hardware buttons and the trackball replaced with an optical trackpad. As far as features, the HTC Bravo includes the following:
A 3.7 inch AMOLED WVGA multi-touch display, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, 512MB of RAM, 5MP camera with HD video recording, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 1GHz processor, and Android 2.1.
It should be available in March, with T-Mobile UK being among the first carriers to sell it. What do you

Landline phones may be squaresville man, but VTech is still making them at least interesting. You have to give them that. The new LS6325 is the first DECT 6.0 push-to-talk cordless phone on the market. Hurray!
So feel free to go all walkie-talkie from up to 1,500 feet away if you like. A three-handset pack will cost $80 and the four-pack will be $90. They launch in April if you are feeling the urge to upgrade your landline.
Anyone want this or are you too busy on your iPhone?

Pantech just dropped their latest cell phone, the Sky IM-U560K. This one is designed for girls and packs in a touchscreen display and an accelerometer for games and applications. It also comes in handy for manipulating the GUI using hand gestures and movements.
The Sky IM-U560K has a 2.6-inch screen, a DMB TV tuner, MP3 player, and a Korean to English Text to Speech Translator. Nothing on pricing yet, but we’ll let you girls know when we know.

We've heard (ever-so-briefly) about ENUM before, which is generally described as an IETF-sanctioned standard for converting traditional phone numbers into IP addresses. But for the most part, even techies would say that they aren't exactly up to speed on what the protocol offers and / or promises. ArsTechnica has spent a good while underneath the mire, and it has arisen with an in-depth article that spells out how the standard can neatly collate a variety of contact options (email address, mobile number, home line, Facebook account, ICQ name, etc.) into a single address

Maybe it's all the talk of the ITG xpPhone that's made ViewSonic's VPC08 come out of hiding, but the phone/MID contraption is finally making a video appearance and revealing why it's so damn thick. Unlike the xpPhone the VPC08 is actually an ordinary feature phone with a 2-inch display stuck on top of an Atom Z500-powered 4.3-inch MID. Uh, innovative? Not so much since it doesn't appear that the two work in conjunction, but we do know that the phone supports EV-DO, and that the MID portion packs 512MB RAM, an 8GB SSD with Windows XP, and WiFi. For those that are at all
