Boost Mobile, Sprint’s non-contract wireless brand, launches the LG Marquee mid-range Android smartphone with a ultra thin design. The slim device is just 0.36-inch thick. It sports a 4-inch 700-nit NOVA touchscreen display, a 5 Megapixel main camera with 720p video capability and a 2 Megapixel front-facing camera.

Verizon Wireless is launching the Samsung Illusion, a mid-range Android smartphone. Boosted by a 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor, the phone is running Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with Swype quick input technology. It comes with a 3.5-inch touchscreen, a 3 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity.

AT&T will release later this year the Samsung DoubleTime, a smartphone with a full flip keyboard and dual touchscreens. The phone has a 3.2-inch 320×480 touchscreen outside and when you flip open it, you can find another 3.2-inch touchscreen and a four-row QWERTY keyboard for quick messaging. AT&T launches the Pantech Link II quick messaging phone with QWERTY keyboard. The new phone runs Brew MP mobile OS 1.0.2. Measuring 10.7mm thick, the phone fits into your pocket or purse. It comes with a 2.4-inch 320×240 color display, full QWERTY keyboard, a 2 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth support and a microSD card slot.

Vodafone UK launches its Vodafone 555 Facebook mobile phone with a bar-type form factor and QWERTY keyboard. Like HTC’s ChaCha and Salsa, the 555 has a dedicated Facebook button that lets you access Facebook directly and it streams news feeds directly to your homescreen.
The Vodafone 555 features a 2.4-inch display, a 2 Megapixel camera with flash and video recording, FM radio, and Bluetooth. It comes with Opera Mini for easy web browsing. The phone is powered by 800MHz processor and supports external memory card.

As you may know, HTC has partnered with and invested in Beats Audio. Now, the cellphone maker announced its first phone with integrated Beats Audio, the HTC Sensation XE, an upgrade to the original Sensation. LG announced in Korea its new Optimus Sol E730 Android smartphone which will be released in Europe as soon as mid-September. The new phone is boosted by a 1GHz processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It has a 3.8-inch WVGA Ultra AMOLED touchscreen anda 5 Megapixel camera.
According to LG, the Sol will include the dark Optimus UI 2.0 that will use less white light as the phone is idle, saving up 20-30% of power consumption. The phone measures just 9.8mm thick. It will be available in black, white and titan colors.

AT&T launches the Pantech breEZe III, the third installment in the breEZe line. The clamshell phone features a 2.2-inch 320×240 display, a 1.3 Megapixel camera, as well as Quick Call Keys, and “breEZe” or “Advanced” mode menu options. It also offers Noise supression technology to filter out background noise and voice recognition that allows users to draft messages, start an application, and make calls via voice commands.

The txt pro is the sister of Sony Ericsson’s txt QWERTY phone. Instead of candy-bar form factor, the txt pro is a side-slider with sliding QWERTY keyboard for quick text input. Sony Ericsson is going to release a new QWERTY feature phone for quick messaging. Known as txt, the bar-type phone has full QWERTY keyboard for easy and quick text input. It has a 2.55-inch 320×250 WQVGA display, a 3.2 Megapixel camera with video recording, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity and a micro USB connector.
To fully utilize the QWERTY keyboard, the txt comes pre-loaded with Twitter and facebook applications as well as Google Talk, keeping you in touch with your friends. It also comes with YouTube app, Obigo Q7 web browser, and built-in FM radio with RDS.
