Panasonic has announced the activation of Twitter on their Viera Cast-enabled HDTVs. Twitter will also be available on Viera Cast -enabled Blu-ray Disc Players at a later date. Panasonic announced in Japan the new VIERA G2 series plasma HDTV, including the 50-inch TH-P50G2, 46-inch TH-P46G2 and 42-inch TH-P42G2. The G2 series features Full HD 1920×1080p resolution and 5 Million:1 contrast ratio thanks to Panasonic’s Black Panel Plasma technology. The VIERA G2 comes with built-in digital TV tuner.
