| MPIO of Korea has released its V7 portable media player that comes with something many devices these days tend to have - a full touchscreen display. Features of the MPIO V7 include a 3" touchscreen display at 400 x 240 resolution, support for MP3, WMA, OGG, FLAC, APE, ACC, AVI, WMV, MPEG-4, FLV and RMVB formats, an integrated accelerometer, a built-in FM tuner and transmitter, voice recording capability and a choice between 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities. No word on pricing as at press time though.

| Itoos has rolled out yet another portable media player to an already crowded market - the M8. This model will boast 1080p video playback via its HDMI ouput, so make sure you have a nice HDTV sitting in your living room if you prefer to use it as the primary display mode. Supported video formats include H.263/H.264, MKV, RM, RMVB, RV8/9, MPEG4/ASP, VOB, DAT, ASF, WMV and MPEG1/2. No idea on pricing and availability as at press time.

It measures a mere 10.5mm thin, taking a cue from Sony Ericsson by allowing you to swtich to the next or previous songs based on a shake function. | Check out the concept of the Quackie CD player that comes in a round body form factor that actually rolls when required, alongside with a black speaker. The speaker itself is attached to the body right at the axis, allowing it to roll around the body. As with any other decent audio player, you can expect simple functions including Play, Stop, Next and Back with volume controls on it.
