You couldn’t turn a corner at the CES 2010 show without bumping into some 3D display. 3D content is going big this year on cable and satellite providers. 3D Blu-ray movies are also coming along with a bunch of new 3D Blu-ray players and an update for the PS3 to support 3D is coming as well.
Samsung is all set to enter the game with their new big-screen 3D LED TVs. Their new line of 3D LED TVs will be coming to Sears this March. Similar models are being introduced in Europe around the same timeframe.

The new range of notebooks from the house of Samsung has made it to BestBuy. The new notebooks, namely R480, R580 and R780 are the ones you can now pick up on BestBuy. Significant, in the meantime, is the fact that the R780 is being only offered on Bestbuy.com, making it an exclusive for the online store. All three notebooks will be available starting on March 7.

Samsung haven’t been very active on the camera market lately, but the products they’ve unveiled at PMA 2010 are a good indication that this is about to change soon. The most advanced model introduced was the TL500, which features an ultra-bright and very fast f/1.8 lens, and a rather large sensor for its class.

Samsung has recently unveiled the new Zipel e-diary refrigerator for the South Korean market. It features a 10-inch touchscreen display, WiFi and is compatible with DLNA devices. Its touchscreen display can be used to show current weather conditions, more than 500 different kinds of food with their nutritional content and news from the internet. Rogers Canada have officially announced that they’ll be carrying the new Samsung Galaxy Spica to their customers. Although there’s nothing official regarding a release date, we’re being told that the Spica will be available with the mobile operator, sometime in late March.

Samsung has announced their latest 22-inch multitouch LCD monitor ‘LD220Z’ for the Russian market. This new widescreen monitor provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 70,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 5ms response time. Samsung is showing off their 3D TVs as well as the LCD shutter glasses you need to go with them. But if you are buying all the 3D hype, all of that gear is costing you tons of money and those glasses cost $150 a pair on top of all that other stuff.
Why so expensive? Well, shutter shades usually have a transmitter inside so that they can communicate with the TV, and a battery. Of course this is just one model. Maybe other Shutter glasses from Samsung will be cheaper.
But $150 bucks is a lot to ask after all of the other 3D gear

Samsung comes back to the prosumer camera market by launching the Samsung TL500 (also known as the EX1) that adopts several DSLR-level features. As a competitor to Panasonic DMC-LX3, this 10-megapixel compact camera comes with a large 1/1.7-inch CCD sensor, a bright f/1.8 lens, a 3x optical lens with a focal range of 24-72mm, a 3-inch swiveling AMOLED LCD screen, pop-up flash and external flash hotshoe, RAW shooting mode, and full manual control over exposure. Samsung is going to release in the UK its NaviBot vacuum cleaner. The device features Visionary Mapping System takes up to 30 photos per second of the room, enabling it to create a virtual map of your home. As the map is created, the Navibot can find the most efficient way to finish the job.
