The Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD has been unveiled at the AT&T Developer Summit. Not to be confused with the original Galaxy S II Skyrocket, the new HD model features a large 4.65-inch 1280×720 HD Super AMOLED touchscreen display. Heading to AT&T, the Skyrocket HD supports the carrier’s 4G LTE mobile network for high-speed data.

Along with the HTC Vivid, AT&T is also introducing the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket to its LTE 4G lineup. Boosted by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, the Skyrocket runs Android 2.3.5 OS. It features a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus 800×480 touchscreen display, a 8 Megapixel main camera with LED flash and 1080p Full HD video recording, 2 Megapixel front-facing camera and 16GB onboard memory.

Verizon Wireless is going to release Samsung’s Droid Charge SCH-i520 Android smartphone, which was first revealed back at the CES 2011. The new Samsung-made Droid phone supports Verizon’s 4G LTE network with download speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps in 4G Mobile Broadband coverage area. It is powered by a 1GHz processor and runs Android 2.2 OS with TouchWiz UI, Swype keyboard and Samsung Media Hub content service.

Verizon and Samsung Mobile announced at the CES 2011 the Samsung 4G LTE Smartphone (model SCH-i520) supporting Verizon’s LTE 4G network. The new 4G Android phone features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel camera with LED flash and a 1.3 Megapixel front camera for video chat. It is powered by a 1GHz processor and runs Android 2.2 OS with TouchWiz 3.0 UI.
