Samsung announced the production of the industry’s first 4Gb low power double-data-rate 2 (LPDDR2) DRAM memory using 30 nanometer (nm) technology. According to Samsung, the new 30nm 4Gb LPDDR2 increases productivity by 60%, compare to the previous 40nm-class 2Gb LPDDR2 DRAM.
The 4Gb LPDDR2 DRAM delivers a data transmission speed of 1,066Mbps while consuming 25% less power.

We finally have the pricing on another 4G mobile and this one is coming out from T-Mobile and Samsung. The Sidekick 4G from Samsung will be available on T-Mobile on a contract price of $99.99 and that will be only for those who are willing to sign on the dotted line with T-Mobile for a couple of years. Not just that, but to avail the $50 mall-in-rebate, you will have to opt for the unlimited data plan and anything less will see you part with $149.99!
Obviously for those willing to go with an unlimited plan on T-Mobile, the $99.99 does look like a pretty good price tag for a 4G

This could come as a surprise to many of you Sammy fans out there who have been waiting to know when the Samsung Galaxy S2 Mini would arrive. We already have word that Samsung is racing in its bid to roll out the device without much delay. Even as the wait continues, UK wireless carrier is ready with their plans to release the device in April.
The Three plan comes even as the phone maker is fast readying a release date for the much spoken about Galaxy S II GT-I9100. The carrier’s Galaxy S2 Mini road map may be seen as adding to Samsung fans’ interest now.

Not long ago, we had told you about how rejuvenated an avatar the Sidekick is coming with. Post all those press briefings and info that came about via insiders, the T-Mobile Sidekick is now before us in the form a promo video, anchored by none other than the person who knows the device very well.

T-Mobile unveiled the new Samsung Sidekick 4G Android smartphone with support for HSPA+ 4G mobile network with up to 21Mbps theoretical peak download speeds. Samsung launches in the US its Series 9 lightweight notebooks that are available in 11-inch and 13-inch screen sizes. The 13-inch model with Windows 7 Home Premium (NP900X3A) is now available while the 13-inch Windows 7 Professional model and 11-inch model will be released in mid-April. It’s been quite a while since we last heard about a possible rejuvenation therapy that was being administered on Samsung’s Sidekick. The Android-powered handset, riding the T-Mobile airwaves, just got a new life with some upgrade to redefined 4G speeds.
The re-born device now comes with stylish looks, an awesomely designed keyboard, redefined messaging options and upgraded 4G. The official announcement of the rebirth as a 4G device has come about finally, though we knew this was on its way. Expect the retail roll out this Spring.
