SanDisk announced its newest high-performance Extreme series solid state drive for the consumer market. According to the flash memory maker, the new SSD is up to 10 times faster than a 7200RPM hard drive, allows computer users to quickly boot and shut down their systems, launch applications faster and reduce wait times. SanDisk X100 SSD Announced for Client computing markets

We has probably missed out SanDisk’s X100 series solid state drive when we report the launch of the company’s Extreme series. Intended for client computing markets, the X100 is available in a variety of form factors, including 2.5-inch with 7mm or 9.5mm height, mSATA and customized thin form factor for ultra slim notebooks.
