Mach Xtreme Technology (MX Technology) introduces its new MX-DS TURBO series 2.5-inch SATA III solid state drives. The SandForce Driven SSD utilizes SATA III 6Gbps interface to deliver maximized performance. It is based on MLC flash memory.
The MX-DS TURBO Series comes in 120GB – 480GB storage capacities. It offers up to 555MB/s read and 510MB/s write performance with up to 85,000 IOPS throughput. The drive includes DuraClass, DuraWrite and RAISE technologies to provide best-in-class endurance, performance and low power consumption

Mach Xtreme announced the new MX-DS FUSION Series SATA III solid state drives budget conscious enthusiasts. The new 2.5-inch SSD is based on MLC NAND Flash and utilizes SATA III interface to deliver maxmized performance. It provides up to 540MB/s read and 510MB/s write speeds with up to 80,000 IOPS throughput.
With SandForce’s SSD controller, the MX-DS FUSION supports DuraClass technology for endurance, performance and low power consumption, and DuraWrite technology to optimizes writes to the flash memory. It supports TRIM command and has built-in ECC function.

Mushkin introduces its new Chronos Series solid state drives powered by SandForce’s SF-2281 SSD controller. The new line is available in standard Chronos models based on asynchronous NAND flash and the Chronos Deluxe using faster synchronous NAND, and is Mushkin’s first series SSD to utilize the SATA III 6Gbps interface.
The Chronos and Chronos Deluxe SSD offer up to 560MB/s read and 530MB/s write speeds and 90000 IOPS random 4K throughput. They are available in 120GB and 240GB capacities and will be released in late June.

Active Media Products announced the new Predator V3 server-class 2.5-inch SATA III solid state drive. Based on Marvell “Van Gogh” 88SS9174 SATA-III controller, the new Predator SSD offers a server-class of transfer speed up to 410MB/s. Supporting SATA III interface, the SSD is also compatible with SATA I and SATA II interfaces.
The MLC-based Predator V3 is available in 64GB and 128GB capacities and comes with 128MB DDR3 cache. It includes the latest advances in reliability such 48-bit per 2KB hardware ECC, bad block management and wear leveling technology.

OCZ Technology is launching the new 2.5-inch Vertex 3 and the enterprise-class Vertex 3 Pro solid state drives. Both series uses SATA III interface to deliver double the performance of the previous generation Vertex 2. Both of them features TRIM support to optimize performance over the drive’s lifespan.
