A hands-on video of the Onkyo TW317 Windows 7 tablet has been spotted online. The device comes with a lot of features, but the first hands-on experience of the device has also brought out some minor problems.
It appears that a guy over at Akihabaranews got the chance to play with the device for a while. According to the reviewer, the TW317 tablet has an excellent build quality, and the device does look and feel great.
The device is huge with its 11.6-inch screen with a resolution of 1366×768, but yet is amazingly thin measuring at 295x195x14mm.

You might know that Verizon has plans to introduce a CDMA version of the iPhone next year and the carrier is also expected to launch a number of devices (includes the Droid 2 Global, the Droid Pro and other much-anticipated devices) on November 11. Now, a new rumor is suggesting that the Samsung Continuum and the LG Vortex could be on its way to Verizon as soon as October 29th.

Sharp has announced the Galapagos Android devices and the Galapagos e-book service. Two tablets have been developed specifically as e-book readers and these readers will be providing support for the cloud-based e-bookstore service that is planned to begin in December of this year. The e-readers will also be introduced at the same time.

Motorola has confirmed that the Flipout will be launched in the US market just before the holiday season. The phone was earlier slated to arrive this weekend.
Motorola did not give out any comments on what carriers are set to offer the Flipout, but it is rumored that the device is on its way to AT&T. The Android 2.1 Flipout, which is already available in Canada, comes equipped with a squarish 2.8-inch screen.

A video preview of the Asus Windows Phone 7 handset is out and according to the preview, the device will go on sale sometime before Christmas.
