The Nokia E7 is not a bad phone by any stretch of imagination. In fact, it would make for a great mobile had Nokia not decided to go along with Microsoft and WP7. That and the price tag that is coming along with the outright purchase of the E7, make it a bit hard to sell off of the store shelves. But if you are interested in the E7, then it is now available for pre-order in the Nokia USA Stores and you can expect it to be in your pocket by sometime this April.

UK customers looking to get their hands on the new Nokia E7 will have to wait a couple more months. While the device was supposed to be released on January 10, this year, as previously announced by UK online store Expansys, we’re now hearing that Nokia has put their flagship Eseries smartphone on hold, everywhere in the world.

Nokia isn’t known as a big time smartphone manufacturer and that is majorly beacuse of the ‘sad’ variety of operating systems that powers its available range of cellphones, but the once famous Finnish giant is adamant to change. Anyway, Nokia is going ahead and updating its Symbian^3 flagship N8 firmware with version 1.1 and the upgradation is expected to take place in a couple of weeks time.
It isn’t Nokia that is officially propagating this development, but resident Nokia guru alex68 is certain that the firmware update shall be here in a matter of 15 days. Alex68
