Haleron introduces the H97 Windows 7 tablet PC. As you can see above, the device looks exactly the same as the iPad, but we are not sure if this is the final design of the H97. Boosted by Intel’s Atom Z515 1.2GHz or Z530 1.6Ghz or Z550 2GHz processor, the H97 packs 1GB of RAM, 16GB SSD and integrated Intel graphics.
The Haleron H97 comes with a 9.7-inch 1024×768 capacitive touchscreen with multitouch support and a 0.3 Megapixel webcam. The tablet includes Bluetooth, WiFi and built-in 3D connectivity. Coming in December, the H97 is priced at $649.

LG officially releases in Korea its E-NOTE H1000B slate-style tablet PC running Windows 7 Starter OS. Like other similar slate PCs, the H1000B is boosted by Intel’s Atom platform. It comes with a 10.1-inch 1366×768 capacitive touchscreen.
The LG E-NOTE H1000B runs on Atom Z530 processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB SSD storage. It includes Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity and has a SD card slot and two USB 2.0 ports. The H1000B is just 14.5mm thick and weighs 850 grams.

ViewSonic unveils two new Android-based tablet devices, the 7-inch ViewPad 7 and the 10-inch ViewPad 10. The former is a Android 2.2 device while the latter is not just a Android tablet, but a dual-booting Windows 7/Android tablet PC

Finally HP officially announced its HP Slate 500 tablet PC designed pecifically for business, enterprise and vertical customers looking for the mobility of a tablet, the familiarity of Microsoft Windows 7 and the ability to run custom or corporate applications.

Thanks to the iPad, the slate style tablet PC is now more popular and more new models are coming out, including the 2goPad SL10 from CTL, the company that sells Classmate PC. Powered by Intel Atom N450 processor, the 2goPad has 2GB of DDR2 memory, integrated graphics and a 250GB hard drive.
The 2goPad has a 10.1-inch LED-backlit capactive multitouch screen. It supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth. The slate PC also has 1.3 Megapixel webcam, microSD card reader, mini VGA output with adapter. It gets a 4-cell battery for up to 5 hours of use.

Fujitsu have added to their notebook collection with the new LifeBook T580. Announced during this year’s IFA technology show in Berlin, Fujitsu LifeBook T580 is a convertible tablet PC that ships with 10.1-inch resistive touchscreen that “charms” with its four-finger multitouch. On top of that there’s also a stylus, but if you don’t like it, that can be tucked away.

If you are someone who has been waiting to lay your hands on your first iPad, it seems like your wait is coming to an end. The upcoming Blackberry tablet from Research In Motion could have a 1GHz chip and dual cameras, according to a report by Ashok Kumar, an analyst at Rodman & Renshaw. The research note, also states that RIM is attempting to make the tablet available in the market by the end of 2010 as opposed to the early 2011 launch date that was planned earlier.

Samsung had confirmed the existence of an upcoming tablet device called the Samsung Galaxy Tab. It is supposed to be coming out sometime later this year. There have also been rumors of a possible debut for the tablet device at the IFA show at Berlin next month.
According to a screenshot from Vodafone UK’s systems ( thanks to the guys at Engadget ), a certain ‘Samsung Galaxy Tablet’ just showed up. Nothing is mentioned about a possible release date or price point, but it may be the sign of a 3G version of the tablet hitting the shelves in UK following a launch
