Australian notebook maker Pioneer Computers adds to its DreamBook line the new ePad L11 slate-style tablet PC. Powered by Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor, the L11 has up to 2GB of memory and up to 64GB SSD. It is equipped with integrated Intel GMA500 graphics or dedicated NVIDIA ION 2 graphics and comes with a 11.6-inch 1366×768 HD capacitive touchscreen.

Fujitsu releases in the US its Lifebook TH700 tablet PC with multitouch screen. Sporting an Intel Core i3-350M processor running at 2.26GHz and Intel HD graphics, the TH700 packs 4GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive and a modular DVD SuperMulti DL burner.
The Lifebook TH700 comes with a 12.1-inch LED-backlit display with 1280×800 resolution, multitouch and dual digitizer. Armor introduces a new rugged tablet PC, the X10gx that “represents a giant leap in communications capabilities in a fully rugged package”. The new tablet PC is MIL-STD-810G and IP67 certified for ruggedness, making it able to withstand harsh environments.

A company called Axon Logic is going to release its Haptic, a 10-inch slate style tablet PC. One of the main features of the device is its support for multiple OS including Windows, Linux and Darwin OS. According to the company, the Darwin kernal and system specific kexts have been pre-loaded on a hidden EFI parition, meaning users can install their Darin OS effortlessly.

Here are official press photos of MSI’s WindPad 100, an Atom-based tablet PC running Windows 7. The slate style device has a 10.1-inch touchscreen and is expected to be powered by Atom Z530 processor, 2GB RAM and 32GB SSD. It will probably include the WindTouch UI as well.

Fujitsu launches the new Lifebook T900 tablet PC that is powered by either Core i5-520M or Core i5-540M or Core i7-620M processor and the Intel QM57 Mobile chipset. The 13.3-inch tablet gets up to 8GB of RAM, up to 500GB hard drive or 128GB SSD and Intel HD graphics chipset.

It seems that the iPad popularity has some telling effect as even the pre-orders for Fusion Garage’s JooJoo Tablet have exceeded expectations. This may be one of the reasons why Fusion Garage has decided to sell the Tablet PC as early as the end of this month. JooJoo Tablet PC may be a far cry from the iPad but, it does impress us on certain counts-Flash support, multitasking and a webcam/microphone combo.
The dark side is that the JooJoo Tablet PC does not offer any connectivity mode other than WiFi and 3G hopefuls may have to wait till eternity.
