Tablet PCs are in. More so, following the arrival of the Apple iPad! Though the iPad is promising to be on the shopping list of all you enthusiasts out there, there are other technology innovators too who are waiting in the wings with their new tablets. Even as we tend to find out if there has been any development of the eReader that Asustek Computer had been raving about, we get to know that the device might be pushed back to bring in a new tablet PC. From what we hear, Asustek would roll out the red carpet for the arrival of its tablet PC that would be based on Nvidia’s Tegra 2 processor. The launch venue is expected to be Computex Taipei 2010.
Christened Eee Pad, the new upcoming tablet would be built at the Pegatron Technology workshops and would most probably sport a price tag of something close to $500.

It’s easy to forget that Apple snapped up P.A. Semi for a song way back when, but now that we’re just days, hours and seconds away from Apple’s expected tablet reveal, a new wave of processor-related conjecture is hitting the fan. HP announced quite the slew of EliteBooks and ProBooks at CES earlier this month, but it looks like it might still have a few more announcements to make in the near future. If this rather unassuming notice (on a high school website of all places) is to be believed, it seems that HP may be on track to release a new EliteBook 2740p tablet sometime in the Spring of this year. Unfortunately, there’s nothing in the way of any actual details, but it does seem likely that the device is a long overdue followup to HP’s 2730p tablet, and possibly a more business /
