Toshiba announced its new MQ01ABDH Series of hybrid drives, combining benefit of SSD and capacity of hard drive to deliver enhanced performance. Toshiba announced in Japan a new tablet PC running Windows 7, the Dynabook WT301/D. The 10.1-inch device is powered by next-gen Intel Atom processor with 2GB of RAM and 64GB SSD for storage. The tablet has a 10.1-inch 1366×768 touchscreen with LED-backlit.

Toshiba announced in Japan its new TransMemory-EX USB 3.0 flash drives, including the 32GB UX-A032GT and 64GB UX-A064GT. According to Toshiba, the drives has the lowest power consumption in the industry thanks to the low power ASIC controller and dedicated high speed NAND flash memory. They offer up to 220MB/s read and 94MB/s write speeds via USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface, and still provides 34MB/s read and 30MB/s write performance using USB 2.0.
