Hitachi announced shipping of  the new Ultrastar SSD400S.B series solid state drive, which is the industry’s first to use 25-nanometer (nm) SLC (single-level cell) NAND flash. The 2.5-inch SSD400S.B uses 6Gb/s Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) interface to deliver high performance, and is available in 100GB, 200GB and 400GB capacities.
