Lexar introduces its new JumpDrive Triton USB 3.0 flash drive that comes in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities. Using the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface, the Triton provides super-fast transfer rate at up to 155MB/s read and 150MB/s write speeds. According to Lexar, it taks just 35 seconds to copy a 4GB HD movie.
The JumpDrive Triton features a metal alloy design with a high-gloss mirror finish and has a retractable connector. The compact drive is backward compatible with USB 2.0/1.1.

ADATA launches its new DashDrive UV100 USB flash drive with a slim profile. Measuring 41mm in length and 5.8mm thick, the UV100 has a capless design and a diamond-cut bevel exterior. It is available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities and uses USB 2.0.

Transcend is launching its new JetFlash 780 USB 3.0 flash drive featuring a sophisticated classic checkerboard design. The new drive is full compatible with SuperSpeed USB 3.0 high-speed interface and USB 2.0. Using USB 3.0 with 5Gbps bandwidth, the JetFlash drive offers up to 140MB/s read and 40MB/s write speeds.
Available in 8GB and 16GB capacities, the JetFlash 780 will be released first in Taiwan, with a price tag of NTD$880 for 8GB and NTD$1380 for 16GB. It measures 70mm x 21mm x 8.1mm and weighs 7g.

Toshiba announced in Japan its new TransMemory-EX USB 3.0 flash drives, including the 32GB UX-A032GT and 64GB UX-A064GT. According to Toshiba, the drives has the lowest power consumption in the industry thanks to the low power ASIC controller and dedicated high speed NAND flash memory. They offer up to 220MB/s read and 94MB/s write speeds via USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface, and still provides 34MB/s read and 30MB/s write performance using USB 2.0.
