Kingston launches the small and slit DataTraveler 108 USB flash drive with a capless design. Its USB connector is protected by an aluminum cover that flips when you need to access your data. There is also a handy key loop that lets users transform this stylish drive into a fashion accessory with the use of a lanyard.
The DataTraveler 108 is available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities, which come in Blue, Red and Gray colors. It comes pre-loaded with urDrive software and includes a built-in Photo Viewer and MP3 player.

PhotoFast shows at the Computex 2011 its i-FlashDrive storage device designed for use with iPhone, iPad and iPod. Looks like the ordinary flash drive, PhotoFast’s new drive not only has USB connector for use with PC/Mac computers, but also a 30-pin dock connector for plugging into iOS devices. Users can download a free app from the App Store for file management. The app can also be used for reading documents and MP3 playback.

Sharkoon expands its Flexi-Drive series with the new Flexi-Drive Ultimate USB 3.0 flash drive. Available in 64GB and 128GB, the new drive offers up to 200MB/s read and 120MB/s write speeds. The Flexi-Drive Ultimate uses a single-chip USB 3.0 controller and four eight-channel controlled MLC storage cells. It measures 79 x 27 x 9.3 mm and comes with a black aluminium case with a protective cap and keychain eyelet.

Kingston announced its new DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 Generation 2 (DTU30G2), its fastest USB 3.0 flash drive. The drive uses a native USB 3.0 controller for better performance and power management. Available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, Kingston’s DTU30G2 offers a read speed up to 100MB/s, and a write speed up to 70 MB/s. The drive has read and write speeds of around 30MB/s, when plugged into a USB 2.0 port.
The DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 Generation 2 comes with a durable casing with a solid lanyard loop. It measures 73.70mm x 22.20mm x 16.10mm.
