Sony has released more details on their new range of ultraportable laptops, the Sony Z Series, which feature a 13.3 inch LED backlit screen and a range of Intel Core i7-620M processors. Sony has added a new netbook to its range with the launch of the Sony Vaio W netbook, which is designed to be more environmentally friendly than previous models. The casing on the Vaio W is made for 23% recycled CDs, and the carry case that comes with it is also made from recycled PET bottles. Sony’s Vaio Z laptop looks set to be a game changer if this rumor is true – that it will come in a special quad SSD configuration thanks to RAID-0, and needless to say that ought to offer you unprecedented data transfer and access speeds. The new Windows 7 VAIO T is boosted by Intel’s CULV processor, either Core 2 Duo SU9600 or SU9400 or Celeron SU2300.
