Verizon and Motorola are launching another DROID smartphone, the Motorola DROID 4, which is the thinnest and most powerful 4G LTE QWERTY smartphone. Like its predecessors (DROID, DROID 2, DROID 3), Motorola’s new Android device packs a QWERTY keyboard in a slim body. Verizon Wireless introduces the Jetpack EuFi890 by ZTE, a 4G LTE mobile hotspot for sharing high-speed 4G network to WiFi devices. The compact Jetpack features a OLED display and an interactive keypad for connection mangement and settings. Verizon and Motorola has introduced the new Droid RAZR MAXX, an enhanced version of the RAZR with extended battery life. It includes all the features of the RAZR and packs a 3300mAh battery for over 21 hours of talk time and up to 15.8 days standby time on one single charge. Even with a bigger battery, the MAXX is still slim at just 8.99mm.

Verizon has released the Motorola DROID 4, which is the thinnest 4G QWERTY smartphone. Introduced at the CES 2012, the DROID 4 is a 4G LTE mobile phone running Android 2.3.5 operating system. It is available from Verizon Wireless for $199.99 with a new 2-year contract.

Verizon Motorola DROID XYBOARD 8.2
Verizon and Motorola expand the DROID line, adding two tablet devices, the DROID XYBOARD 8.2 and the DROID XYBOARD 10.1. Both XYBOARD tablets has a similar as the RAZR and run Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system. They are lighter than a paperback book and thinner than an AAA battery. The DROID tablets support not only LTE 4G but also quad-band 3G WCDMA,/HSDPA, quad-band GSM/EDGE, CDMA-EVDO mobile networks, making them true global tablet.

Verizon Wireless launched the LG Englighten mid-range, affordable Android smartphone. The new phone comes with a 3.2-inch 320×480 touchscreen, a sliding full QWERTY keyboard with large keys for easy typing, and a 3.2 Megapixel with auto focus and video recording. The Enlighten is powered by a 800MHz processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with support for Adobe Flash 10.

Verizon Wireless introduces the Samsung Stratosphere, the first 4G LTE smartphone to has QWERTY keyboard for easy and quick text input. The Stratosphere is an Android 2.3 phone powered by Samsung’s 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor. It comes with a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen and five-row QWERTY keyboard.

After announced back in January, the DROID BIONIC has been back to Motorola’s lab for a redesign and hardware enhancement.
