LEGO had a fairly decent-sized booth at this year’s CES showing off their slightly-delayed LEGO Universe game which will finally be released sometime this year. And sure, playing around in their bricktastic online MMOG was fun, but LEGO, you had me at “Build your own minifig!” And let me say thanks for not strictly enforcing that “One minifig per person” limit.[ LEGO Universe ]

| Apparently Motorola isn’t going to be the only one offering an alternative Android store. Looks like Sony Ericsson and General Mobile are also planning their own Android stores. Sony Ericsson has already announced that they will be accepting submissions for apps and games for Android devices.Meanwhile General Mobile is already working on Storeoid, its own Android app store. How this will affect the Android Market and Apple’s AppStore, we don’t know. But competition is good right? 2010 is looking very interesting.[Ubergizmo]

| It looks like Motorola isn’t going to be the only one offering alternative Android stores. It seems that Sony Ericsson and General Mobile are also preparing to come up with Android stores of their own. Sony Ericsson has announced that they will be accepting submissions of apps and games for Android devices, which seems like good preparation for its upcoming Android-powered XPERIA X10 handset. General Mobile is already working on Storeoid, which is its own version of an Android app store. How will this affect the Android Market and

| There may be a Google-branded netbook on the way soon. Google has been talking about working with a bunch of manufacturers in order to be sure its Chrome OS runs well and now on top of that, multiple sources say that Google will hire an unnamed netbook maker to build a device specifically for Chrome OS.Word is that we might see this gBook as soon as next Christmas. And by that time there will be more tiny and powerful processors to choose from, which will give this net-connected laptop some real power. If Google can make it cheap enough, it could be a real hit.[Dvice]

| This is one of the more interesting alarm clock concepts we’ve seen lately. Designed by Henrik Amberla, the innovative design of the Milky Way serves two functions. It functions as an alarm clock of course, but it’s also a nice piece of art. Want to activate the snooze function? Just turn the device. Setting the clock and the alarm is as easy as doing another turning motion. The Milky Way Alarm Clock is only a concept right now sadly.Hopefully it will become real one day soon.[Unplggd]

| Verizon will be rolling out their Droid device in the near future, and for all we know this could be a new smartphone which will most probably be powered by Google's Android operating system. Some others whisper that this could be the Motorola Scholes Google handset, or another Android-powered phone of a different nature. The ad campaign does poke fun at the Apple iPhone 3GS with phrases that start with "iDon't". Waiting has never been this agonizing...

| With Windows 7 Mobile going to be released sometime next year, documents have shown that there will be a Microsoft Office Mobile 7 suite on its way as well. One thing we know for sure is this (among the many other uncertainties, of course) - Office Mobile 7 will function nicely with Windows Mobile 7 (but of course), but other than that, very little - or should we say, nothing else is known about it.

| Well, if you’ve been worried about using your various Net-capable gadgets because of the lack of net neutrality law, then worry no longer. Seems that the FCC is about to adopt net neutrality as a set of general principles soon.Net neutrality, in case you don’t know, is a standard that requires all internet service providers to treat all information equally in terms of download speed. For instance, Comcast recently decided to force BitTorrent users to accept vastly slowed download speeds as they gave precedence to other users. Technically, that’s not

| Alleged screenshots from a Norwegian GameStop inventory system have revealed the existence of 250GB PS3 Slim bundles, where they will come in a pair with various titles to suit many game genres including Need for Speed: Shift, FIFA 10, Uncharted 2 and Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time. Local prices in the Norwegian GameStop have pointed to a $640 sticker price for each bundle, which is $85 more compared to the 120GB model. Hopefully if these prove to be true, they will be much cheaper for us living Stateside.
