The Total War gaming series continues this year with the release of Total War: Shogun 2 on March 15, 2011 – and to get you in the mood a new trailer has been released to coincide with the demo campaign on Steam!
Available now on Steam, this is a really exciting strategy gaming title launch, which follows on from 2010′s Napoleon Total War release. Whether the continued release of strategy titles on PC makes the platform the de facto choice for wargamers or not is another issue – however with Steam’s recent provision of games for Apple Mac computers fresh in mind, it is a shame that this title hasn’t been made available to Mac users.
The demo version of The Creative Assembly’s upcoming PC strategy game Total War: Shogun 2 gives you the chance to experience a small taste of Total War’s battles and Campaign gameplay as you play through the Chosokabe tutorial campaign which will introduce you to the feudal Japanese world of Total War: Shogun 2.
Total War: Shogun 2 is a far cry from comabt in Middle Ages or Renaissance era Europe, with different types of land warfare and tutorial battle stages offered in the demo, leading to the historic battle of Sekigahara!
With enhanced 3D land and naval battles and a detailed campaign map, Total War: Shogun 2 also offers a brand new multiplayer experience!
