X2 computing names its tablet the iTablet

For a long time many geeks would have bet money that Apple would call its long anticipated tablet computer the iTablet. When the device surfaced as the iPad, I am sure there were more than a few geeks surprised by the name choice.

A company called X2 in the UK has decided if Apple wasn’t going to use the name, it would. The firm has unveiled the iTablet today running Windows 7. The machine uses a 1.6GHz Intel processor and has 250GB of storage space.

Other features include three USB ports, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and HDMI out. The machine measures 252mm x 192mm x 35mm and weighs as little as 1.18kg in some forms. It comes in a variety of colors and the price and availability is unknown.
